On June 30th four members of the Pomona College community will head north to the Arctic. Prof. Nina Karnovsky, Zachary Brown ‘07, Nell Baldwin ‘09 and Derek Buchner ‘09 will fly to Svalbard to study a seabird called the Little Auk (Alle alle).
I can’t wait to hear back from Dr. Karnovsky and her team live from the Arctic!
