Today we prepared for our trip by receiving firearm training from Prof. Wayne Steinmetz (Dept. of Chemistry) at a shooting range. In the Arctic we will carry a gun at all times as part of our polar bear safety precautions. We hope to never have to fire the guns. Zach was the sharp shooter of the day. THANK YOU Prof. Steinmetz!
