I think I will write about Heinrich or the love of gold and how it relates to the materialism and the shrinking artisan class during the Victorian period. I am little worried about whether or not I will have enough material to fit ten pages. I think I might have to include another fairytale and do sort of a compare and contrast. I think I might also format my paper as a criticism of a particular literary interpretation of history. An example would be the one we read at the beginning of the year about Dracula.
That’s cool. I am writing about Wooden Tony and how this story shows child labor during the victorian period/ industrialization. Like you said, I am also worried that I will not have enough to write about. Also everything that I have found has been from books and not articles so I may have to read a lot. Good luck with your topic though.
