My results are really narrow and one of the books i really wanted wasn’t where it was supposed to be. Anyone having better luck than me?
same here. The articles i looked for in the database that, judging from the titles, seemed relevant to my topic were not on hand in the library and needed to be requested. Then i decided to just get books. So instead, I looked through the library catalogue for books and actaully found a fairly good ammount of relevant looking results. And i could also get the books in my hands the same day. The library is confusing though, dont forget the orange paper that tells you where books will be located!
I’ve been having trouble too, every article that looks promising on the database isn’t available online, which is a pain.
I found ~8 book/periodical sources that I thought would be useful on the datacase, but I found only 1 book and 3 periodical articles in the end. And that took me a long time just physically going around and looking for them. I realize that I can borrow books from other campus, but it’s not as convenient, and I am not sure that by the time they arrive, I would still have time to go over them and work them into my essays. Oh yeah, and I spend 15 minutes trying to figure out how to use the copy machine, so that was pretty confusing.
