Closed Published by dr December 6th, 2007 in UncategorizedThere’s an important typo in the previous email: final portfolios are due not on Friday, Dec. 15th (which doesn’t exist) but Friday, Dec. 14th.
Your portfolio should include the following, in a folder or large envelope:
your draft and revision of each essay (preferably the commented-upon copies), including your revision of Essay #4;
an end-of-term reflection (see below); [...]

One other lesson: bring your PowerPoint presentation on a flash drive so that you’re ready [...]

There are advantages and disadvantages to both approaches, of course.
Let me know your druthers in [...]

Closed Published by dr September 27th, 2007 in Uncategorized•   How did your revision go? What was your experience in revising this essay?
•   What is your thesis? How has it changed from draft to revision? (You might include in this a description of your revision process.)
•   What are you happiest with in this revision? What problems in the draft did you find most challenging?
•   [...]
We seem to have gotten a bit stuck here without a specific assignment. Posting on the blog can be a way to respond to assigned readings, to ask if other people thought that it was as bizarre or interesting or boring as you did. It can also be a way to try to jump-start class [...]
