US Marines Ad
The propaganda and symbolism in this ad disgust me. It’s so over the top and, I think you’ll agree with me, that, based on this, the idea of joining the Marines is terrifying. How did this ad happen???
I thought it was particularly interesting in light of our recent poster-viewing outing.

Yeah i agree with the commenters… i bet this ad come out during the time of the harry potter/lord of the rings/star wars, etc advertising… it just seems like a great play off of the sci-fi era… very appealing, and it would be even more appealing to people interested in sci-fi movies.
